Databases, ODBC, SQL how to?

Postby pendragon1966 » Wed Aug 21, 2013 5:35 am

What i'm wondering is if Q7B can use any database, I'm thinking of using Firebird or Valentina, both are ODBC compliant and both exist for the three major operating systems fully free of charge.

If you can live with using MySQL, SqLite or Postgre, it is supported by Q7b. ODBC is not supported... yet...
There are examples.

Yepp.

But thats not bad, they cover all from a full RDBM to the lighter filebased ones. :)

I have posted some example on how to use MySQL Record-based.

Thanks for your answers, I'll have a look into postgre and see if I can learn how to use it.
