Looking nice and simple but one drawback it's android only :geek:
But i know that you ment the form designer 8-)
B is working on some other projects one of them is nearly finished and on the other he is still working.
Kind regards,

Noo, I don't care much for the form designer, as you know I'm happy using QtDesigner. ;)

The link has nothing to do with Q7b, just posted for fun if someone would like it...

And that isn't bad concidering the number of Android devices around. :)

Just beginning to feel a chill up the spine, I've seen quite a few projects like Q7b slowly die. It is a tremendous job for one man to get even as far as it is now, B must also make a living, and Q7b has not made him rich so far...

Right now there are so many things that need to be fixed in Q7b to make it really useable, so I just hope all struggles are not wasted time... It's been a looong time since any updates...

I'm also happy with QtDesigner but i liked what i saw ;)
There is nothing wrong with android, what you said there are a lot devices out there using it.
And yes i agree with the rest of your posting about Q7B.
It will be sad if Q7B can't survive because it has a lot of potential.
Kind regards,

Yes, and there are numerous VB6'ers out there, that will never jump the dieing .Net wagon. ;) They are all looking for something to replace VB6, as it no longer will be supported in future windows...

Cross my fingers for Bernd to be able to take up fixing Q7b... :ugeek:

We have a license for this and use it. Its very nice software, but its Android only as stated. The designer works well and he is working to improve it daily.

Its also mobile only obviously. What Q7B needs to make it shine to a whole new audience and class of people is a multimedia API thats game centric. I am a .Net developer
and love VB for everything its worth. I have watched B's progress from KBasic to Q7B as most of you and he's done amazing things. However, to be able to use this http://www.sfml-dev.org/ with Q7B or even KBasic
would cause me to love his design even more. I use this with .NET and love it. Just wish it could be integrated with Q7B in such a fashion I could use it on Mac and Win. :(

Hi,
I have a reasonably successful couple of programs for Windows I programmed using VB6. It dawned on me a few years ago that I was missing out on a big market by not having mobile app versions, so I did a Google search and found Basic4Android.
I think it's a great program, I've now got my programs up and running for Android, and using RIM's converter, BlackBerry Z10. My son, who is a real programmer (with a degree and all), is doing the iOS versions.
After that my only untapped marked was MAC, so I found kBasic with Google. Man, was I happy!
However, I'm sorry to see that kBasic is not really supported any more. I have a question on the legacy forum that seems to have been ignored. At my age (71) I don't really want to go to the hassle of learning a whole lot of completely new syntax.
In my very limited with kBasic, I think it's a brilliant program for VB6 programmers! I just hope that in your enthusiasm for Q7 you don't forget us.

For die hard VB6 followers Jabaco is a very good option. It can import and convert complete VB6 projects!

Do check it out: http://www.jabaco.org

It is truly interesting.
