Qt going to be ditched by Nokia! :(

Are there new versions?

Qt going to be ditched by Nokia! :(

I don't know as to where to post so I am posting here....

I just read this - http://lists.qt-project.org/pipermail/d ... 05478.html

and this is getting me concerned about Qt's future.

Should we as developers put our confidence in Qt and develop anything worthwhile in?

Please spread words about this and please give your feedback here.

Don't worry. The bad news have been the switch to Windows mobile in the past. Qt is still the best cross-platform toolkit even it does not get new features the next year. (Other major frameworks like Cocoa or NET have its stable core classes like Qt.) There will be lot of companies and people involved in especially the Qt commercial reseller Digia.

Qt for Mac, Windows and Linux is pretty much alive.

Thanks, for the reassurance.

I hope it is as you envision because we have got 2 commercial software depending on it under windows and linux.

Latest news says that Digia will be the new solely owner of Qt (like Trolltech in the past):

Sounds got to me.
